2014 Morgan County Market in the Park (In Photos)
This is just a sampling of the fine wares available at the 2014 Morgan County Market in the Park this past weekend at Old Mill Park in West Liberty. The mission of Market in the Park is to create an “eat local, buy local” mentality that celebrates our community’s creativity and fosters economic growth in Morgan County. It is always a great experience seeing what is being made by folks in Morgan County and this Market in the Park was no exception!
In addition to over 30 artists and crafters, members of local Farmers Market were in attendance with fresh, local produce, herbs and flowers. Locally grown food was provided free to the public courtesy of the Farmer’s Market and The Chop Shop. The Appalachian Troubadours provided entertainment throughout the entire event and added such a fun, festive vibe! Make sure to make plans to attend next year’s Market in the Park! It is held the first weekend in August.
